If you have never done whole body cryotherapy, four questions usually come first: how cold it really feels, what you will be wearing, whether you will be shut inside something, and whether you can stop. Answer those four and the decision to book gets a lot simpler.

The short answer

The session is dry, brief, and supervised. SK's whole-body chamber includes your head as well as your body. You wear underwear or a bathing suit without metal, and the studio provides protective socks, gloves, and shoes. A team member explains the process and monitors the session. Some clients feel a pins-and-needles sensation near the end, and that feeling usually fades quickly after exiting.

Before you arrive

Two preparation points matter most. First, arrive completely dry. If you work out before your session, give your core temperature time to cool down and make sure there is no sweat on your skin. Second, plan to remove jewelry before treatment, and wear or bring underwear or a swimsuit without metal.

Whole Body Cryotherapy is available at Temecula. Confirm current availability and pricing when you book or call.

What happens during the visit

A team member walks you through the process before you start, reviews safety considerations, and stays nearby to monitor the session. You change into your session wear, put on the provided protective socks, gloves, and shoes, and step into the chamber.

The treatment itself is dry, and it is brief. Near the end, some clients notice a pins-and-needles feeling; it typically fades quickly once you step out. Individual experiences vary, and you can talk to the staff member at any point during the session.

If enclosed spaces worry you

Tell the team before booking if enclosed spaces concern you. Ask to see the chamber and have staff explain how you communicate during the session and how to end it. You do not need to decide before you have that walkthrough.

Fitting it around training

You can train on the same day. If you work out first, cool down fully and arrive dry, as above. Many clients prefer cryotherapy before training instead. There is no set frequency: some clients book occasionally, others come in several times per week, and the right cadence depends on your goals and how your body responds.

Pairing sauna and cryotherapy

If you want to pair sauna with cryotherapy, ask the team to plan the appointments together. Some clients use the sauna first. Before entering the cryotherapy chamber, dry off completely with the towels the studio provides and follow the team's preparation instructions.

A first-visit checklist

  • Underwear or a swimsuit without metal, worn or packed.
  • Jewelry left at home or removed before the session.
  • Completely dry skin, with your core temperature cooled if you trained first.
  • Any health questions written down to raise with the team before you start.
  • A few extra minutes on a first visit for the walkthrough.

A note on eligibility

Cryotherapy is not appropriate for everyone. A team member reviews safety considerations with you before treatment, and the Whole Body Cryotherapy service page carries the current eligibility questions. If you have a medical condition or are unsure whether cold exposure is appropriate for you, talk with your own provider and with the SK team before booking.

Next step

Book a session through the booking page, or call the Temecula studio first if you want the walkthrough before you commit.
